FAMU Annual Spring Preview

High School Students (9th, 10th, 11th and 12th) and Jr. College students
Departing South FL on 03/22 @ 10:00 p.m.
This event is an annual collaborative project of the FAMU Miami, South Dade Alumni Chapters and THE HBCU SHUTTLE, Inc. We look forward to having our high school students and Jr. college students, take part in the FAMU Spring preview and informational session. There will be workshops, a full campus tour, a meeting with department Deans, members of The FAMU Student Government Association and so much more. Students will also have lunch in the Cafe with current FAMU students. Parents are encouraged to attend and receive valuable first-hand information. This event will enable our "newest Rattler's" , class of 2024 to experience The Hill!!
This is an awesome opportunity to get a clear vision of visioning YOU on "the hill". In addition, to receive first hand, FAMU admission requirements and how to academically AND financially prepare for FAMU. The Spring 2024 preview will enable each student (and parents) to see all that FAMU has to offer. Members of the South FL FAMU Alumni Chapters will serve as chaperones for this event.
Cost: $150.00 per student and $125.00 per adult. The payment deadline is March 13, 2024. The group will depart Tallahassee (FAMU) at 5:00 p.m. on 03/23/2024.
FAMU alumni will travel with students and assist them in completing the enrollment and/transfer process as they prepare for the next chapter of their academic journey.

Upon arriving at FAMU, students, parents a chaperones will be intensely involved in various workshops (admissions, financial aid & scholarships, overview of all academic majors offered at FAMU etc) a complete walking tour of the campus including dorms, and one on one meetings with the college Deans. Further, students will enjoy lunch on campus, with the current student body. After lunch on campus, the group will have an opportunity to explore the campus.
There will be a ZOOM meeting with all students, parents and FAMU alum on March 17, 2024, 2024 @ 5:30 p.m. Travel schedule and other pertinent information regarding the 2024 FAMU Spring preview tour will be discussed. The meeting ZOOM link will be sent to each student and parent that has registered and paid the required fee. Thank you..
