2022 FAMU Fall Preview

October 1, 2022

Celebrating our class of 2022 Rattlers

Departing south FL on 09/30/2022 @ 10:00 p.m.

This event is an annual collaborative project of the FAMU Miami-Dade, Broward Alumni Chapters and THE HBCU SHUTTLE, Inc. We look forward to having our high school seniors that have been accepted to FAMU for the 2023 academic school year and our Jr. college transfer students, to take part in the 2022 FAMU Fall Preview and informational session.  There will be a number of workshops, campus tours,  a meeting with department Deans, members of The FAMU Student Government Association and so much more. Students will also have lunch in the Cafe with current FAMU students. Parents are encouraged to attend and get valuable first-hand information. This event, will enable our "newest Rattler's" to experience The Hill!!

Those students that have been accepted and or applied to FAMU for the Summer/Fall 2023, should consider taking this trip and completing any outstanding admission concerns you may have. This is an awesome opportunity to get a clear vision on YOU on "the hill" and a member of the FAMUly. The Fall  preview will enable each student (and parents) to see all that FAMU has to offer.  Members of the South FL FAMU Alumni Chapters will serve as chaperones for this event.

Cost: $135.00 per student and $115.00 for parents- includes  lunch on campus, note taking materials, SGA "Be Out Day" festival  and more

FAMU alumni will travel with students and assist them in completing  the enrollment and/transfer process as they prepare for the next chapter of their academic journey.

Please note that COVID-19 protocols will be in place and students/parents/chaperones are encouraged to  wear a mask during travel on motorcoach. Also, a copy of COVID-19 vaccination and/or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of travel date, will be required. Your cooperation is appreciated.
